In 2014, Elise returned to Los Angeles after four years in Dubai, where she was deeply influenced by the geometric arabesque motifs of Middle Eastern culture. Her large-scale oil paintings offer a contemporary interpretation of these traditional designs, juxtaposing intricate patterns with vibrant colors to create a dynamic, multi-dimensional perspective.
